Found this lonely rubber chicken, thought i would do something with it.

This is a recreation of one of the star trek tos phaser sounds using a free and open source synthesizer known as surge xt.

A sound forge work.

Futuristic engine.

Mostly flanger.

Whooshing sound, rather like the sound a stick makes when you whip it through the air. I made the sound accidentally by moving my zoom h4 fast through the air and quite liked the results. If you do us it, i'd be curious to know how, in the comments.

This could be used (for example) as a sci-fi bed or other background. This sound was created using a guitar recording, modified with the usss tools for the pure data programme. I granulated it and did other things but i can't remember what.

Shift tone to higher pitch, and then use automation to change it's delay time long to short immediately.

A looping forcefield sound from my video game "virus at home". Made with a 50hz sawtooth wave, synths and mixed vocals.
